dc.description.abstract	A computer program is developed for designing low-noise systems and calculating the spot and broadband values of input and output noise, the noise bandwidth and the noise figure. The transistor base-spreading resistance, an parameter of the noise model, is determined experimentally from l/f noise measurements.
