In other words, the thesis concentrates on merchants and workers dealing with international trade, market mechanisms, analysis of textile goods and consumption behavior. This micro analysis which retraced the socioeconomic life of Istanbul, is aiming to equip us better in order to situate the city in the international trade of the Empire. | |
